Evolution Laboratory: This manual was used at UCI for class Bio. Sci. 115L. The experiments and statistical problem sets can be completed in a ten week class which meets twice a week for 6 hours. Shortening this may make some of the fly labs difficult for students to complete.
Evolution & Ecology: This link to the book written by Michael Rose and myself titled "Evolution and Ecology of the Organism". We used this in Bio. Sci. 106 and also in a non-majors evolution and ecology class. Some of the material in the molecular evolution section is certainly dated but most other chapters are basic topics which hold up well with time.
Statistical Learning: The material in this class closely follows the topic in "An introduction to statistical learning" by James, Witten, Hastie and Tibshirani. I used this for a graduate class I taught for Ecology and Evolution students so many of the examples I give are from this field and my own work.
